A cultural event to mark the centenary of the Civil War in Ireland is taking place in Dublin.
The event is being held at the National Concert Hall and will be addressed by President Michael D Higgins, Taoiseach Micheál Martin and Tánaiste Leo Varadkar.
The programme for the event includes traditional Irish and classical music, poetry and song.
Among the artists taking part are singer Iarla Ó Lionáird and uilleann piper Louise Mulcahy.
The National Symphony Orchestra is also performing.
An academic address will be given by Dr John Borgonovo of UCC’s history department.
